Greetings. I haven't been able to check the page in such a long while, but what drawed my curiosity was the way people began to draw an interesting topic of discussion, nearly a week ago.

I wish to provide my input to your point as well.

Quote by CelticmoonRHello, I don't really have a problem with ecchi being in MT, per se;
but it does seem like perhaps there should be some sort of delineation
between 'favorites' categories: ie, categories being 1. Artistic
Favorite and 2. Ecchi Favorite. [maybe others, too? These seem to be
the main drives leading people to choose favorites, however.]

True, but nothing can be done unfortunately, as this idea would be thrown out the window due to the unfortunate reason that the mass public wants what they will get, so changing the system of favorites would draw an unfortunate conclusion that will draw many artists angry. We don't want an all-out ecchi site, though it seemingly dissapointing is reaching over there, closer to an entirety.

It not only depends on Ecchi, but friends as well, depending on the situation. Yes, ecchi scans actually get far more favs. than natural scans. That is a fact, and very disappointing, as we speak. It does not derive how skillful an artist may be, but rather draws wanted attention which can seem unfair to many of the members here from within the community.

Quote by CelticmoonRIt doesn't really seem fair to have artists trying to compete with
ecchi, they are really separate categories. I don't know what the
further ramifications of the different categories should be, though.
Perhaps you would like to discuss that.
After all, it is probably impossible to really stop 'ecchi
appreciation' completely - it is too inherent in human nature. But
perhaps it can be addressed in other ways, such as this.
What do you think? Is this a good idea? How could this be implemented?

I cannot address it other than taking the same route of moderating that was hand-dealt with many months ago, apparently. The barring of ecchi back then was apparently so contagious, that if one picture was to seep through, the member would immediately get warned off the bat. That was when Keltosh was around, perhaps the perfect Gallery Director who literally ripped this situation in half, and only placed ecchi that is considerable, but non-effective against the other submissions here on MT. It was a perfect role, that promoted balance and a same sense of strictness around the site. Now, this role no longer exists, which would lead to the unfortunate downfall that now ecchi is stealing the show, when really it isn't all that.

I'm sorry to say, and I hope this does not offend you, but this community is full of pervs. Really. It's getting so bad, that I don't even want to address the issue out anymore. The site needs changes, and that's for sure. Not on the way the favs. are approached, but more likely, the submissions that are allowed into the gallery, just like the moderation team pulled out many times before.

Good day now.

Quote by CelticmoonRWow, this is really good - I don't have much experience with conte... Looks like the technique is pretty effective! [You mentioned it was black and white originally...?]

Yeps it was black and white originally.. actually it looked almost alot different without the color.. 0_o; but yeah.. thanks for favoriting it! XDD
